Connecting people who do research with people who want, need, or care about it.
Megan Skrip, Ph.D.
I am an award-winning science writer helping researchers tell the stories of their work, for broad audiences outside of science and for others in their field. My work encompasses translating technical jargon into enjoyable prose, polishing could-be-better writing until it shines, and crafting messages about research to meet communication goals.
I studied both the physiology of songbirds and scicomm best practices for my Ph.D., and I leverage that research experience as a writer, fact-checker, and editor of both technical and popular writing. For over ten years, I have been helping scientists share their research clearly and effectively, driven by a goal-oriented and audience-centered approach.
